In My Dreams (by karitribble)
Taken with instagram
I found this poem that I wrote many years ago. It’s one of my favorites and I thought I’d share it with whomever sees it and is interested. So, here it goes:
In a plague marked with ambiguous fears
Stripped down and played in everyone’s ears
To some extent a mark of truth
To find within or seek in truce
To determine what seems to be an answer
To determine what seems to be, to be
And now
Limitation holds the calming antidote
Ah, thus this is what it is
This is what we believe
And still, the ringing of the bells mark every drop of clinging fear
To embrace a lightened shadow is the falling of what we know
To look within is stripping through and through
To what we blame on other reasons
To what we blame as fear
“Oh!” a laugh calls out from the elderly woman
Who won her cards with a lottery show
The money comes in and now she’s dying
Realizing that sadness consumes the withered soul
A brink of self discovery, for all these years that laid before
The yearn for false perception was nothing of what kept her alive
What keeps us alive?
So we dig, we live and find what makes us
What makes us…but
Who are we?
And the fear, arrives, bleak and spinning
Spinning and spinning
Coughing and congested air, congested bodies
Full of poison, full of pain…
And yet, we blame…
We blame…
We blame…
We blame…
And over in the quiet corner sits a young boy
With a smile so gentle on his face
Smiling because he is only five and still he remembers
Yes he remembers exactly the littlest reason
As to why he is here
And that is to just live…to just live
And yet, there is no fear to find him
There is no fear to realize that there is more
There is more
There is more to this purpose than our fear
There is more to this purpose than to put blame on this labeling lamentation of what seems to be an earthly body
It’s just an earthly body
We’re just an earthly body
And as this boy grows old he still holds on, but is alienated
For,
Everyone as grown up
Because that’s what is done
That’s what we do
And yet
We are not “we,” but “who?”- Copyright Kari Tribble 2000

One touch
And you can feel the Universe
Pulsate through a vein
Of another
In one exchange
Eye to Eye
You can see the source in which you thrive
One minute
One second
One instance
Dreams are as real
As this reality
You can be anywhere
Even nowhere
Or as source
Excuse me while I…
interpret an ego that operates this body
So I can enjoy what it’s like
To temporarily be here
And excuse me while I…
Enjoy the view of your ego
Interpreting this world
From another angle
I am enjoying the vast possibility of creation
With the harness of imagination
And with just the right touch
To make it come to live here, with me…
I will have what I want
But always with love and pure intention
I will draw energies toward me
And I will move my body
Just enough
To mimic the touchOf one touch

Our Next Evolution - Observations (by karitribble)
Some thoughts I had about what I am observing about the world, its people, and the institutions in which we create simultaneously together.
I apologize for my quiet, cracky voice. I am sick with a head cold right now. Or allergies… either way - I am sick and I sound funny :) I will try to type what I said in the video so you can read what you may not be able to hear. Here I go:
“I was thinking about how the world is changing so much and that everything no matter what people believe in - every single thing is shifting and evolving right now. Like religion, health care, any kind of separation that we have created amongst ourselves…it’s like - everything is having to change and shift and evolve and I think that is the most fascinating thing to observe right now in this lifetime…is how everything is moving into a direction in their different ways, but still in the same, in the same direction. People in general they are becoming more spiritually responsible, they are becoming more empathic, connected to humanity and because of the internet, we’ve been able to really connect to each other, and to really listen to stories and to hear how similar we really are, and not so different… because if you strip all the layers away, there’s always the core, the core part of it - which is the source of all light, all light and existence…and it’s that core is what unites every single existence on this planet…to… to everything! Whether its human beings, animals, plants, soil, everything is connected by the same thing. And it’s just really interesting because as we become more…evolving to understand love more…and to understand humanity and connection, which, in some ways, are kind of like how our ancestors were really rooted to feel and believe in their everyday life, they were really connected to each other - but the difference is now is that we have it on such a global level because of technology. So there’s this emergence of technology, of science, of spirituality, and love, and compassion, and humanity, and that’s a part of this…that’s a part of this evolution movement, this movement toward what the new world is going to be like…and most people will eventually realize that the world, literally, is a mirror in which we shape. We are truly shaping the way that we want our society to be, because it’s about us, and then we also will realize, how… there’s this whole other species, there’s this whole other form that we’re a part of, which is a part of nature, which is a part of the cycle of the earth, and we’re all connected by the same thing…and it’s very, very important to know this and to recognize it…and I just feel that we’re moving in that direction, we’re moving in that way and every single… every single thing in terms of institutions, businesses, corporations, wars, religions, health care, diet, food…every single thing is moving in the same direction and it’s changing and shifting to reflect what we are reflecting..and that’s the most powerful thing about being responsible for your own… for your own love, your own light, your own passion, and how you visualize your world, because it truly does connect with a million other mirrors to form what we see today. So I was just thinking about that and wanted to share it with you. Have a good day, bye!”
